Snow Plant

When I first saw this growth, I would have never thought it was called a Snow Plant. We saw these while hiking in Mariposa Grove (at Yosemite). We came across a few just sprinkled about here and there among the dead growth. This cluster seemed to be in bloom - ahead of the others we saw. It's not a great picture, but it sure was interesting to see.

That is an amazing plant! I'll have to show it to S., my little botanist!

That plant was sooo cool to see in the middle of what looked like dead growth.

I got rid of that spam!

I was saying as I saw the picture, "that looks like one of those plants that grow out of the snow around here". How funny.
