So small

My oldest found this snail outside in a flower bed. The kids were fascinated by it! I should have put a penny next to it so its smallness could be empahsized.

Oh, that's so cute! You captured a lot of detail on the shell. Not sure I've ever seen a live snail in a shell -- just slugs that showed up on our back porch steps when I was a kid. They weren't nearly that cute. ;)

Oh, Kate, that's so sweet. It's amazing how perfect something so small can be! Before the microscope, scientists looked at baby octopi and just thought they were a jumble of cells, because they couldn't see how perfectly formed they were with the naked eye!

Thank ya'll! I was thrilled it turned out pretty clear too. It was itty bitty - the size of my finger tip.
Stacey - I was gone this weekend with no internet connection so I could not post. Bummer! I posted the two days a little! Keep the pressure on me! I like it! ;)
